1. One beep: No RAM installed.
Your RAM may have developed faults. Re-seating the RAM (removing then re-installing) may fix this problem.
2. Two beeps: Incompatible RAM types installed.
This indicates that RAM that has most probably has just been installed is incompatible with existing RAM. Remove any new RAM from the system.
3. Three beeps: No good memory banks.
This refers to the slots where your RAM is inserted. Re-seating the RAM (removing then re-installing) may fix this problem.
4. Four beeps: No good boot images in the boot ROM.
This refers to the Apple Macs' Logic Board (Motherboard). It indicates that it is faulty and is unable to to access information on how to boot up correctly. The machine should be taken to an authorised Apple repair centre.
5. Five beeps: Processor is not usable.
Your Apple Macs Intel processor is or has failed. The machine should be taken to an authorised Apple repair centre.
